Police are appealing for information following a road crash on the A9 at Ousdale earlier this week.

The collision, which occurred around 1.30pm on Monday, involved an orange Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Kia Sportage.

Emergency services attended and the driver of the Corsa was taken to Raigmore Hospital. The male driver of the Kia Sportage was uninjured and the female passenger was taken to hospital. She has since been released.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to contact them. In particular, police would like to speak to the occupants of a white van with Arnold Clark livery which was driving south at the time of the collision.

It is believed the driver may have seen the collision and could have information which would assist the investigation.

Police are also requesting that anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area around the time of the incident to check their footage as they could have captured an image which could assist with the enquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1648 of November 22.
