Skinny dippers braved the cold waters of Loch Ness as they bared all in celebration of a new festival.

The intrepid group waded into as part of the inaugural Loch and Land Festival.

Organised by Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN), it was launched to celebrate the abundant natural beauty and outdoor activities which Inverness and Loch Ness have to offer.

The Loch Ness Sunrise Skinny Dip was the finale of a packed festival programme which kicked off in October.

Events included climbing, yoga, archery, sea kayaking, whitewater sledging, fly fishing and axe throwing.

There were also tours, cruises, litter picks, speaker events, wood carving and wild swimming.

The skinny dip was run by In Your Element, with a portion of the entry fee going to Trees for Life.
