HIT television show Peaky Blinders has finished its fourth day of filming in Portsoy.

Cillian Murphy, who plays gangster Tommy Shelby in the popular BBC programme, was again on set in the Aberdeenshire town – with filming for the show's sixth season unaffected by snow and freezing weather.

Portsoy's old harbour – which has been turned into a French village – was being used for today's filming, which also involved use of several vehicles.

While top-secret scenes were being shot yesterday, photographer Daniel Forsyth was back this afternoon to grab some more snaps of the action.

Today was the penultimate day of filming in Portsoy, with tomorrow the last.

The Scottish Government is allowing film and TV production to take place during the coronavirus pandemic under strict rules. All cast and crew are routinely tested for Covid-19.

Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham shortly after World War One and has secured a Bafta and several National Television Awards.

It is widely expected that a film will follow the show's sixth season.
