The Northern Scot joined forces with Moray Firth Mermaid Ashleigh More for a charity event.

The Edinburgh-based actress spent two hours meeting young fans.

Starry-eyed young girls and boys were able to sit on a rock with Ashleigh on Tuesday morning.

She said: “It was great meeting all the little jellyfish on Hopeman beach!

“I think I might have had more fun than the kids.

“I’m so happy to have raised money for the Ladybird Development Group, who do so much for the local children.

“I might swim up again on Hopeman Beach this summer, keep your eyes peeled!”

The fun event was in support of the Lossiemouth play group, which looks after children with additional needs.
