PICTURES: Capers in Cannich draws music lovers to fourth event staged in response to coronavirus pandemic
MUSIC lovers flocked to the fourth Capers in Cannich festival at the weekend.
It made history in May when it marked Scotland’s return to live music as the first festival created in response to the pandemic.
Festival director Karl Falconer said he was proud of the event’s success.
He said: “Festival-lovers from young to old flocked to the site to enjoy a weekend of socially-distanced exclusive glamping – dancing, singing, sipping cocktails and snuggling up with hot chocolates, all while relaxing in luxurious, Covid-safe social bubbles.
“Callum Beattie’s knock-out Sunday night headline saw the weekend end on a high, and we saw amazing performances over the weekend from Keith Robinson, Astrid Acoustic and more.
“I am very much looking forward to welcoming music-lovers to this special event for our next weekend at the end of the month, with tickets still available via our website.
“The line-up is amazing with a Friday night headline set from Toploader, it’s set to be one to remember.”
The next event is between Friday, August 27 and Monday, August 30.
