One new case of Coronavirus in NHS Highland area in past 24 hours

ONE new positive test for Covid-19 has been recorded in the NHS Highland area since yesterday, the daily update has revealed.
The health board area's cumulative coronavirus total rose to 379 in the latest official figures.
The increase came as 16 newly-confirmed cases were recorded across the whole of Scotland in the past 24 hours – taking the country's overall total to 18,500 since the start of the outbreak.
Despite this minor increase in cases, there were once again no new deaths among people who have tested positive for the virus.
Continuing the good news, the number of people in Scottish hospitals being treated for Covid-19 fell overnight, down to 287 from 295 the day before. The number of people in intensive care also dropped to two, down from three 24 hours earlier.
In the north of Scotland, outwith the NHS Highland area, there were single additional cases of the virus reported in both NHS Grampian and NHS Tayside. They have now had 1441 and 1783 confirmed cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.
Despite the minor increases in the three mainland health boards in the north of Scotland, the Northern and Western Isles continued their long run of days without any fresh diagnoses.
