Within the smaller Highland Council area the total death toll remains at 51, with 16 in care homes, seven at home and 28 in hospital.

Scotland as a whole has seen a rise in the total number of Covid-19 deaths of just eight – up to compared to the previous week – bringing the total to 4201.

Though the Covid-19 death rate rose marginally it was the second lowest since the first death was recorded at the start of March.
