Ruwan Uduwerage-Perera is now proposing to create a website and hold twice monthly Saturday surgeries in the village.

However a call from Diana Royce to hold monthly rather than bi-monthly Zoom community council meetings, was rejected after a couple of members demurred.

Ms Royce said: "Bi-monthly meeting don't suit planning issues. We are always late to respond."

Chairman Russell Rekhy said: "We have been in the middle of planning quite a lot and it is appropriate that the public feel comfortable approaching us because we are the voice of the people and we are here to represent our community. If that means we meet every month, we should definitely do it."

The meeting agreed to review look again at the frequency of meetings in three months' time after the website and surgeries were up and running.
