Three in hospital after crash sees vehicles catch fire in Grangemouth

Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash which involved three vehicles near Grangemouth.

Police said two cars and a van were involved in the incident around 9.30pm on Friday evening.

Following the crash on Beancross Road, a white Citroen Nemo van and a grey Suzuki SX4 caught fire.

We are continuing our inquiries to establish the full circumstances. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch

A black a black Hyundai Tucson was also involved.

The 29-year-old man driving the van and the 32-year-old man driving the Suzuki were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after suffering “serious injuries”.

The 37-year-old woman driving the Hyundai Tucson was treated at Forth Valley Hospital.

Sergeant Fraser Easton said: “We are continuing our inquiries to establish the full circumstances.

“I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.

“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
