Star Wars superfan has the X-factor

A STAR Wars superfan has finished another project that is out of this world.

Civilian chef at Kinloss Barracks, Mark Donald, built a working model of a speeder bike last summer and has made a number of droids and set props that appear in the franchise this year – in between special appearances at local events dressed in character suits including Boba Fett and Darth Vader.

Now, he's created an X-Wing Starfighter spaceship in his back garden!

"One adult or two children can sit inside it," said Mark. "It's the biggest prop I've made and it has taken the longest to make!"
