UHI lecturers on strike again over pay dispute

Inverness college lecturers are holding a picket line again today (Thurs) over an ongoing pay dispute.

The staff involved are from the EIS-Further Education Lecturers Association (EIS-FELA) trade union.

On social media the union said: "College lecturers take more strike action today for fair pay

"Our employers failed to come to the table with anything new to say, and nothing new to offer.

"College lecturers deliver; we deserve a fair pay rise."

The disruption is the latest in a long running saga to see pay increased from employers.
