Scourie metal theft sparks appeal by Police Scotland officers in Sutherland
Thieves who broke into an industrial site and stole steal are being hunted by police.
Officers have appealed for information after the theft from a site in Scourie and another incident in Scouriemore where a farm building was forcibly broken into.
A steal platform was stolen from an industrial site on the outskirts of Scourie sometime on Thursday, February 27.
Overnight on the same day, a farm building was also broken into at Scouriemore but nothing was thought to have been taken.
“Anyone with information regarding either incident is encouraged to contact us via 101, anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or directly to Rhiconich Police Station,” said a Police Scotland spokesperson.
