A LORRY has overturned at a railway bridge in Inverness.

The accident in Lower Kessock Street is causing traffic disruption and the Far North Line and Kyle Line has been closed.

A ScotRail spokesman said: "Because of a lorry colliding with a bridge between Inverness and Beauly all lines are closed. Disruption is expected to last until around 1.30pm today.

"Train services between Inverness and Dingwall will be delayed or revised.

"The bridge will need to be examined by our staff. Our response team are en-route to examine this and will be on site shortly."

It is not known if anyone has been injured.

More on this when we get it.
