Lorry blown over on Dornoch Bridge

The A9 is closed after a southbound lorry was blown over on the Dornoch Bridge.

Emergency services are in attendance at the incident.

The driver is reported to be uninjured but efforts to right the vehicle are being hampered by the high winds.

The road is expected to be closed for some time and drivers are advised to take the alternative route via Ardgay and Bonar Bridge.
