LOOKING BACK: Skerray youngsters help teacher open new stretch of road between Farr and Kirtomy

Primary pupils Caitlin Moistner and Harris Mackay, both from Skerray, help assistant head teacher Mrs Janette Mackay to cut the tape, officially opening a new £2.25 million stretch of the A836 between Farr and Kirtomy in June 2000. Councillor Barbara Jardine and other pupils look on.
