Lochhead to visit Golspie

Rural Affairs Secretary Richard Lochhead will be out and about in the Highlands today - including Golspie.

He will start the day at the LEADER conference in Inverness where he will deliver a speech about the difference LEADER funding can make to rural communities.

Mr Lochhead will then travel to Golspie this afternoon, where he will meet tenant farmers - including Angus McCall, chairman of the Scottish Tenant Farmers Association - to discuss the range of issues affecting tenant farmers. Mr Lochhead will also be given a tour of the farm.
