THE stage has been set for the return of an eagerly anticipated art fair at one of Ross-shire's most iconic venues.

The Strathpeffer Pavilion art fair opens on Friday with almost 300 pieced exhibited from no fewer than 79 local and national artists.

The event has traditionally been a favourite with both browsers keen to enjoy a broad range of work in one setting and art collectors keen to bag a bargain or find a unique gift with local significance.

It will run on Friday from 10am to 8pm and then on Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

The last chance to see the work is on Sunday from 10am to 2pm.

Anyone unable to visit in person can view and buy pieces online at https://hlh.scot/artfair
