Illegal substances uncovered in Ullapool drugs raids

DRUG warrants in Ullapool resulted in "various quantities" of illegal substances being recovered, police have revealed.
"Police in Ullapool assisted by the Flexible Policing Team, CID, operational support and a police dog executed three misuse of drugs search warrants in Ullapool on Thursday," said a police spokesman.
"Various quantities of drugs were located during these searches and enquires are ongoing in relation to this."
Sergeant Kay Macrae, based in Ullapool, said that Police Scotland was committed to "targetting those willing to cause harm in our communities" by tackling the distribution and supply of drugs across the Highlands and Islands.
Sergeant Macrae wished to remind members of the public that they play a crucial role and urged anyone to report any information or concerns in relation to the supply of drugs in their communities to the police.
