Highland Hospice wants thrill-seekers to abseil 100ft off the iconic Kessock Bridge to help boost its funds
Daring fundraisers are being invited to abseil 100ft off the Kessock Bridge in aid of Highland Hospice.
Volunteers are invited to register for the event which takes place in September in the picturesque village of North Kessock.
The challenge, which is described as thrilling and unique, dares participants to complete the free-air abseil.
Hospice fundraiser Emma Nicol said: “We are so excited to be introducing our very first abseil fundraiser to help us raise funds.
“This is something we’ve spoken about doing for many years, so it is fantastic to be making it happen with the help of our generous sponsors Ord Industrial and Commercial Supplies Ltd.
“Huge thanks also to McDonald Scaffolding who are offering their support and expertise to the event.
“We are working with UK Bungee Club (UKBC) who have a 100 per cent safety record and will take you through all the necessary precautions to ensure you remain safe but also have plenty of fun.
“And we are delighted to have gifted free places to RNLI – an important charity to the area – so they can also raise funds from the event.
“There’s been a lot of interest already, so don’t delay in getting signed up for the experience of a lifetime.”
The event takes place on Friday, September 3, and Saturday, September 4, and participants will receive a free T-shirt.
