Highlands misses out on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! as Welsh castle announced as this year's location

ITV has announced that the 20th series of I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! will be filmed at the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele in North Wales.

It had been hoped that the hit TV show would be filmed in the Highlands after production scouts were seen looking at remote castles for a location closer to home as coronavrius has made filming the series in Australia this year impossible.

Gwrych Castle in north Wales has been chosen as the location.

Ant and Dec will host an adapted version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! live every night on ITV from the castle this autumn.
