Business director, Lyndsey Wilkinson and the Global Highland team, said: “At Global Highland, we are passionate about celebrating the people who make the Highlands such a special place to live and work. The Highland Heroes awards shine a light on those who go above and beyond, often quietly and without expectation of recognition. Supporting Heroes is our way of saying thank you to the incredible individuals who put community at the heart of everything they do.

“The emergency services are the backbone of our communities. Day or night, in moments of crisis, they are there to protect, respond and save lives, often at great personal risk. Having a sister who serves in the police, I’ve seen first-hand the dedication, sacrifice and resilience required in these roles. By sponsoring the emergency services hero award, we want to honour the courage, commitment and professionalism of these remarkable individuals and teams, and ensure their contribution does not go unnoticed.

“We know that many acts of heroism and dedication happen quietly, without seeking the spotlight. That’s why we encourage everyone to take a moment to nominate someone who has made a difference. Whether it’s a paramedic, firefighter, police officer, coastguard or any other emergency services professional, your nomination could give them the recognition they truly deserve.”

Highland Heroes 2026 is a fantastic way to give your thanks and to celebrate the unsung heroes in your community.
