Highland Heroes 2025: Who will be the hero of heroes?
Highland Heroes celebrates the very best in communities – the people who go out of their way to help others or show tremendous bravery without seeking any recognition.
Whether it is an act of kindness, courage, friendship or love, they make a positive difference to someone’s life.
NOMINATE your Highland Heroes 2025 by midnight on Sunday, December 15.
All of the Highland Heroes award categories are special in their own right and recognise the many different ways communities support each other; through fundraising, volunteering, education, healthcare and the emergency services, to those trying to make our communities more sustainable, charities and local champions rising to a challenge, and the most courageous children who battle every day inspiring their families and those around them to be brave.
But on awards night, an extra special presentation will be made to the overall hero of heroes.
The hero of heroes will be chosen from among all of your winners on the night by our judges, recognising a truly exceptional individual.
Sponsoring the award for hero of heroes is Pentland Ferries.
Helen Inkster, managing director of Pentland Ferries, said: “Pentland Ferries is proud to be a sponsor of the Highland Heroes awards advocating our support and recognition for the individuals and organisations who tirelessly strive to make our communities a better place.
“There will be many remarkable stories shared over the evening, all showcasing the people and organisations that go the extra mile to create a kinder and more welcoming place for us all to live. We are particularly proud, this time, to be sponsoring the hero of heroes award!
“It is so important we recognise and celebrate the people that help make our lives, communities and the wider world a better place, no matter how small, so please take the time to nominate your very own Highland Hero using the link.”
