Who are the green heroes in your community helping to make your neighbourhood a more sustainable place to live – now and for the future?
Highland Heroes 2025 recognises these inspirational folk with the green hero award and we want you to tell us about them!
NOMINATE your Highland Heroes 2025 by midnight on Sunday, December 15.
The green hero of the year will be an individual who inspires others to care for the environment and brings environmental projects to life helping create a cleaner, green future.
Springfield is sponsoring the Highland Heroes award for green hero.
Kieran Graham, managing director for Tulloch Homes, part of the Springfield Group, said:
“Taking action to do our bit for the environment is a responsibility that falls to us all. Even businesses like the Springfield Group. In September we published our update on the steps we are taking to build more energy efficient homes for our customers and in a more sustainable way to reduce our impact on the environment as best we can.
“We are proud to support the green hero award to celebrate those individuals that have gone over and above to take care of the planet and are excited to learn about the work these proactive people are doing within their communities so that we can all benefit from a greener future.”
Highland Heroes 2025 is a fantastic way to give thanks and to celebrate the unsung heroes in your community.

Once all of the nominations have been submitted, our judges will whittle down the entries to create a shortlist and you will be invited to vote for your winners.
All of the finalists, sponsors and guests will be invited to the awards ceremony at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel on Friday, March 14, 2025 where the winners will be revealed!
In addition to the main categories, there is also a very special award presented on the night.
A hero of heroes will be chosen by the judges from among all of your winners.
