High Life Highland upgrades gym at Sutherland Swimming Pool with new ‘strength and conditioning area’





A gym facility in Sutherland has benefited from an upgrade programme carried out by High Life Highland, which provides leisure services and community learning on behalf of Highland Council.

The fitness suite at Sutherland Swimming Pool in Golspie has been improved with the introduction of a new dedicated strength and conditioning area with a range of new equipment.

High Life Highland is refurbishing gyms across its portfolio in Sutherland, Caithness, Lochaber and Badenoch to give customers “more choice and an improved experience”.

Sutherland Swimming Pool manager Kelly Skinner said: “It’s great to be getting new equipment for our existing and new members. Our aim is to support the wellbeing of our communities.”

Ms Skinner invited people to visit the leisure centre to see for themselves what was on offer.

High Life Highland head of Leisure Graeme Ross said: “Our continued investment in upgraded gym facilities ensures that High Life Highland gyms are offering our customers the best possible experience, helping us towards our aim of making life better for people.”
