Halloween quiz night raises £562 for Lawson Memorial Hospital and Cambusavie Unit in Golspie





The Rotary Club of East Sutherland linked with Lawson Cambusavie Memorial Hospital Friends to organise a Halloween quiz evening at Brora Golf Club last Friday, November 1, writes Kathleen Cunningham.

There was a light buffet of delicious baking and sausage rolls, and a raffle table which was kept busy throughout the evening.

Along with quizmaster Nick Lindsay, ably assisted by Ellen Lindsay, the packed lounge of lively and supportive ‘quizzers’ helped raise £562 to benefit patients, families and staff at our local hospital in Golspie.

Everyone was a winner, but congratulations go to ‘ Frankenstein’s Monsters’, ‘Viva Ten Hag’, and ‘The Three Amps’.
