A packed house at Brora Golf Club helped raise more than £630 for the Lawson/Cambusavie Hospital Friends on Friday evening.

The Rotary Club’s annual fundraising quiz was a sell-out, with over 100 people filling the venue.

Many arrived in Hallowe’en fancy dress, with both children and adults embracing the spooky theme.

Elizabeth and John Sweetman led the event as witch and wizard quizmasters, and did a “stunning” job, keeping the crowd entertained throughout.

The Friends of the Lawson team organised a “very successful” raffle and provided themed cakes and snacks for guests.

This marks the third consecutive year the Rotary Club has supported the charity, which raises funds to enhance patient comfort at Lawson Hospital and the Cambusavie Unit.

Organisers said they are already looking forward to returning next year.
