'Great atmosphere' at sunny Helmsdale Primary School sports day

Helmsdale Primary School held its sports day earlier this month in glorious sunshine.

There was a great atmosphere at Helmsdale Primary School's first sports day in two years.

Two school teams, Castle and Bunillidh, battled it out for the trophy with Castle coming out on top by three points.

Teacher Shelly Taylor said: "There was a great atmosphere and it was good to have parents back on site for the first time in two years.

"Thanks go to our lovely PE teacher Pat Sutherland for taking the lead and organising our potted sports in the afternoon."
