Gavin & Stacey star Ruth Jones drops in on Wester Ross bookshop
THE manager of a Wester Ross bookshop was delighted by a surprise visit from a face familiar to millions.
What was occurring at Ullapool Bookshop was a visit from Gavin & Stacey star, Ruth Jones, an actor turned bestselling author.
The BAFTA-award winner, who co-wrote the hugely popular TV series with James Corden, also played the much-loved no-nonsense character, Nessa Jenkins.

Ullapool Bookshop posted: “Absolutely fabulous to have had a surprise visit this morning from the legendary Ruth Jones.
“She's signed copies of her books for our customers. She was telling me that her latest bestselling novel takes place in Scotland - I can't wait to read it.”
Her novels include Love Untold, Us Three and Never Greener.
