Four new Covid-19 cases in Highland area

There have been four additional confirmed coronavirus cases in the Highlands in the past 24 hours, new figures have shown.

It means the tally for the NHS Highland area since the start of the pandemic has increased to 467.

Some 176 people have tested positive across Scotland in the last 24 hours, taking the national total to 21,719.

There have been three more reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

Elsewhere in the north, NHS Grampian had five new recorded cases in the past day, taking its tally to 1983.
