Indie rock star Tom Meighan is set to headline in Inverness as part of a special five-date Scottish tour.

The ex-Kasabian frontman turned solo artist will play a gig at The Botanic House venue on November 27.

The acoustic performance will be the second date in Meighan’s RAW ‘24 tour, with other stops including Mac Arts in Galashiels, Bungalow in Paisley, Printhouse in Ayr and La Belle Angele in Edinburgh.

Meighan has already announced a full band tour of the UK, taking him to Lossiemouth on August 25 and Glasgow Barrowlands on October 11.

Meighan’s social media announced the concert last night, saying: “Heading north again in November. It’s BRAW ‘24. Scotland we’re coming back!”

Meighan left Kasabian by mutual consent in July 2020 citing personal issues, soon after pleading guilty to assaulting his then-fiancee.

Contrite at his behaviour, he then entered rehab for alcohol addiction and was diagnosed with ADHD.

He has since reunited with and married the woman he assaulted, Vikki Ager, while launching a successful solo career with hit albums The Reckoning last year and this year’s Roadrunner.

Tickets for the Botanic House gig go on sale tomorrow (Friday) at 10am.
