Engineering works are set to bring disruption to passengers on the Far North Line in June.

ScotRail has warned that engineering works will result in bus replacement services and revised train time services on the route between Inverness and Wick/Thurso on Saturday, June 15 and Sundays, June 16 and 23.

The disruption is due to engineering work on the tracks between Tain and Wick, closing the line between those stations.

Bus replacements will operate between Inverness and Wick/Thurso, with an "amended train service" running between Inverness and Invergordon/Tain.
