AN Easter Ross artist is maintaining a seasonal tradition with a winter show running until Christmas Eve.

Ingebjorg Smith is putting her work earlier in the year on large paintings to good use for designs for a variety of items ranging from mugs and tins to coasters, place mats, a calendar and cards "and best of all some lovely tea towels".

Her Studio Smith show prides itself on offering a sociable meeting place for browsers and a potential source of unique Christmas gifts.

She said: "There are also some fun new Christmas card designs, one of which was inspired by a visit from an adorable little Scottie.

"Keeping us warm are hot water bottles with Scandi hand-knitted covers and fingerless gloves."

Also on show are some Scandinavian-style decorations.

The show runs Monday to Saturday from 11am -5pm.

Studio Smith can be found at1 St Duthus Place, Chapel Road Tain.
