Storm Éowyn has forced the closure of the A9 at Dornoch Bridge to high-side vehicles.

The restriction will remain in place throughout today with an amber warning for high winds in place.

Currently, the bridge remains open to all other vehicles.

A Traffic Scotland spokeswoman said: “Due to high winds affecting driving conditions, the Dornoch Bridge is closed to high-sided vehicles on A9 Dornoch Bridge, both ways between A836 and A949.”
