Dog recovered at side of A9

In the early hours of yesterday morning, Police recovered a dog which was unaccompanied at the side of the A9 near Slochd Summit.
Police in Aviemore are keen to trace the owner so they can reunite them with the dog, which appears to be a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier-cross which is mainly black in colour with a white chest.
The dog has been temporarily housed at local kennels.
