The verdict: “New season lambs, albeit taking a big drop on the week, didn’t reflect the downturns witnessed elsewhere towards the end of last week and remain dearer than at this point last year.
The hogg season refuses to come to an end, however they are now selling at the same prices as the ewes. Ewe trade was solid from start to finish with many more required on a weekly basis to satisfy demand.”
