Did you see speeding driver?

The offence took place about 10.10pm last night. The silver vehicle overtook another at excessive speed within the statutory 30 mph area, narrowly avoiding a collision with an oncoming vehicle.

The vehicle failed to stop for Police and continued at excessive speeds into Wick Town Centre. The vehicle and driver were traced a short time later.

A 38-year-old man has subsequently been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for various Road Traffic Offences.
