Three charged at Inverness Sheriff Court with attempted murder in Forres

A man and two woman appeared in court yesterday charged with an attempted murder on Forres High Street.

Rhys Baker (28), from Forres, was remanded in custody.

Caitlin Turner (21), from Elgin, who is otherwise known as Wells, and Suzanne Kelly (28), from Forres, were released on bail.

All three appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court and made no plea.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 11.55pm on Saturday, April 3, following the report of a serious assault on High Street, Forres.

"Officers attended and a 27-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries."
