Attendees can expect a fun day out that is suitable for all ages and budgets, with tickets starting from £2 and all children under 5 years old welcomed in free-of-charge.

The exciting event, which attracted over 3500 fans from all over Scotland last year, is set to include over 60 traders and artists selling merchandise from Marvel, DC, Pokémon, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, and a wide range of themes in-between.

Ian Bonar of BGCP said: “Inverness Comic Con 2023 was quite possibly our busiest event last year so we’re looking to streamline the wait to get in and add as much as possible to the event – including bringing our photo op set with Han Solo in Carbonite.

“Attendees and fans can get free pictures with movie props, statues, and of course the chance to meet all their favourite heroes and villains such as Deadpool, Spider-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Bluey, Star Wars Characters and much more.

“BGCP run Comic Cons in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Ayrshire, Dundee, Fife, Perth and now Inverness has become an annual event due to it’s popularity.”

The event is also preparing to bring back it’s popular Jurassic Class workshop which will be free but first come, first served.

This year will also see a workshop with Beats of War writer and creator Etienne Kubwabo, in which fans will have the opportunity to create their own superhero.

As well as these workshops, there will also be movie and TV props to inspect, arcade machines and consoles to get your game on, and character meet and greets for fans to get a photo opportunity in.

To top it all off, BGCP Comic Con Inverness is running a cosplay competition – a notable highlight of the event last year.

Limited tickets will be available at the Inverness Leisure doors on the day, however, to avoid disappointment it is strongly advised that you book your ticket online in advance of arrival: bigglasgowcomicpage.com/event/inverness-comic-con-2024
