Coronation boost for Lairg Crofters Show

Coronation celebration events held earlier this month have given a funding boost to Lairg Crofters Show 2023.

The show held an scrumptious afternoon tea in Lairg Community Hall between 2-4pm on May 6, with adult guests greeted on arrival with a glass of prosecco.

Young Christina Graham, who attended the tea with her mum Alison Graham, scooped the prize for the best hat worn for the occasion.

Lairg Crofters Show spokeswoman Karin Ross said it had been a "wonderful afternoon" with some £511 raised for the show, which takes place this year on August 26.
