Controlled explosion by bomb squad at Golspie

Bomb disposal experts have made safe suspected ordnance at Golspie.
HM Coastguard received a call from police in the early hours of yesterday morning, requesting assistance following a report of a device in the water.
Coastguard rescue teams from Dornoch, Helmsdale, Inverness and Wick were sent.
Royal Navy bomb disposal experts from HM Naval Base Clyde’s Northern Diving Group attended the scene and carried out a controlled explosion.
