New Covid-19 restrictions checker gives details on what you can and can't do by postcode
The Scottish Government has released an online postcode checker after the country’s new tier system of Covid restrictions went live at 6am today.
The checker offers detailed access to information about guidance across 27 different categories that cover almost all settings where people could interact.
They range from more personal aspects like indoor socialising, shared parenting and extended households to schools, hospitality rules, driving lessons, public transport and sporting events.
Those in doubt about the easing of restrictions or wanting to check to see what has changed can do so by accessing the Scottish Government website and entering their postcode here.
Once that is done it will show what level your area has been placed at according to the Tier system.
The Highlands is currently at Tier One alongside Moray, the Western Isles, Orkney, and Shetland but a ban on home visits has been retained.
