Brora man charged with possessing tomahawk and sword

A 43 year old Brora man was remanded in custody today after being accused of seven charges.

These included possessing a knife, a tomahawk and a sword.

Hugh Williamson also faced charges of assault, malicious damage and breach of the peace.

He made no plea at Inverness Sheriff Court and was committed for further examination.
