Bride's marriage is close to home as Castlecraig Farm in Nigg
CORONAVIRUS restrictions played havoc with many wedding plans over the past 18 months or so, with some families forced to change their plans or even cancel altogether amid uncertainty as the pandemic unfolded.
The marriage of Claire Whiteford, second daughter of David and Joanie Whiteford, to Jamie Boyd from Clydebank, was held at Castlecraig Farm, near Nigg.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at home due to numbers being restricted in church. The marriage was conducted by Rev James Currall, Priest-in-Charge of St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Tain.
Mrs Whiteford, as Lord Lieutenant for Ross and Cromarty, is The Queen’s representative in the county. Mr Whiteford is well known for his involvement with the successful marketing of the NC500.
