Local crafters will be trying to sell surplus material and supplies at a destash sale at Strathy Hall tomorrow.

Local crafters are taking part in a fair with a difference tomorrow – this time they will be selling extra material and supplies at discounted prices in an attempt to destash.

Around 16 stalls are signed up for the craft destash sale in Strathy Hall, which is being held from 11am until 3pm. There are sure to be lots of bargains as crafters try to reduce stock and get rid of surplus materials.

Organiser Fiona Macfarlane pointed out that some regular North Coast Market stall holders would also be taking part, including Clyth Charcuterie.

She added: "Befriending Caithness are coming again to do the teas and coffees which is brilliant. We have people coming from all over Caithness and Sutherland.

"It is a trial – it has not been done up here before so will just wait and see how it goes."
