NHS Highland has reminded residents in Sutherland that the region’s GP surgeries will be affected by the summer bank holiday.

The public holiday, on Monday (August 2), will see practices operate a restricted service, although pre-booked appointments and Covid-19 vaccination clinics will run as planned.

“Please do not attend these practices without an appointment,” said a spokesman. People seeking routine or non-urgent advice should contact their GP from Tuesday onwards. For any urgent medical problems please contact NHS 24 on 111.

Advice is also available at www.nhsinform.scot.
