Badanloch tup takes overall champion honours at Lairg Hill North Country Cheviot Sheep Show
The Lairg Hill North Country Cheviot Sheep Show 2024 took place last Saturday.
Champion was a 3-shear tup, Balmacara Class Act, from Badanloch, bought in Dingwall in 2023 for £1000.
Reserve male, and reserve champion, was a tup lamb from Michael Kirk, sired by 10k Attonburn Antidote.
Female champion went to Badanloch with a homebred 5 crop ewe. Sired by a Langdale tup which was loaned, she is out of a homebred ewe which was champion at the show in 2017.
Reserve female was a gimmer from Inverbroom, sired by Allanshaw Ben Nevis, bought in Dingwall 2022 for 12K.
