"I'll be writing poetry, walking and having conversations with artists in a range of different media," she said.

The launch will be via an interactive Zoom sessionand will be attended by fellow creatives Lynn Bennett-Mackenzie, Dorje Khandro Dawid and Anne Coomber.

Those attending will be asked to share what the seashore means to them.

Meanwhile Mandy has a busy programme of events lined up including a UHI Literature Society poetry workshop on Thursday, September 24.

A pre-shot film, taken at Clachtoll broch and on her sailing boat Each Mara, will be shown at the Scottish International Storytelling Festival on October 18.

Mandy said: "I'll also be doing a series of events over the winter using word play to find out how people feel about trees."
