“She had a suspected broken wrist and other injuries,” said team leader Ben Dyson.

“After administering pain relief and splinting the affected limb, the casualty was stretchered off the hill to a waiting ambulance. All team members were back at home by 1am ready to start the new week. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.”

The teams also advised that people always carry spare warm clothing and food when going out in the hills, “just in case”.
