Police Scotland are carrying out enquiries into a "road rage" type incident that took place at A835/A837 Ledmore Junction, 18 miles east of Lochinver, Sutherland about 9.50am on Friday January 8.

An altercation has been reported between the occupants of a black Seat Leon car and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van.

Police are appealing for witnesses or for dashcam footage for drivers who may have travelled that road around this time.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information regarding this incident.

PC Donald Morrison, Lochinver Police Station said "I would urge anyone who has information regarding this incident to contact Police on 101, quoting incident number NE/174/21 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
