American YouTube star Randy Santel has set another food eating record in Inverness.

The extreme eater managed to finish Scotch and Rye's Challenge 35 burger, wings and sides in just 19 minutes and 42 seconds.

He had 35 minutes to complete the platter of food or it would have cost him £35.

Just prior to his attempt Randy's girlfriend Katina Dejarnett, who is also a YouTube star and professional eater, set a new record of 24minutes and 27seconds.

Randy's latest food challenge win in the Highland capital is number 1102 in his career since starting out in 2013.

His YouTube channel has 1.46million subscribers who regularly tune in to watch him consume huge portions of food.

He is currently touring Scotland with his partner Katina.

Scotch and Rye on Queensgate has only ever had one other successful completion of the challenge - local man John Finlay who completed it in 2018 with seconds to spare.

It consists of a 24oz bacon and cheeseburger, loaded chilli fries, a side of “kaleslaw”, two ears of buttered corn, four barbecue wings and a 30oz vanilla milkshake.
